Burial was in Long Beach, California, Wednesday, June 30, for Clara B. Prochnow, 97, who died June 26, 1982, at a Long Beach nursing home.

Clara B. Prochnow was born February 27, 1885, in Nebraska to Henry and Jenny Leach. She lived in the Blair area for years. She married Henry Prochnow of Fort Calhoun, Nebraska.

Her parents and brothers, Wilbur and Arthur, preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son, earl, two daughters, Eileen and Helen; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Gertrude Pettingill, all of California.

Grace Thompson and a number of other Thompsons in Blair were all first cousins of Mrs. Prochnow.
