Henry H. Prochnow, 87, of Washington County, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1999, at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair.

Services will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 26, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home. A prayer service was held Thurs. Nov. 25, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home.

Henry H. Prochnow was born April 8, 1912, to August and Minnie Prochnow of Washington County. He attended Fort Calhoun High School. He married Hazel McCormick and had two sons, John and Steve. He served in the Army for four years during World War II. He was employed with Calhoun Stone Co. where he worked as a truck driver.

He is survived by his wife Hazel; two sons John and Steve; a sister, Marie Kelly; and two grand-daughters.

Sievers-Sprick Funer Home was in charge of arrangements.
