Services for Margaret Prochnow, age 86, who died at Good Shepherd Home January 31, 1992 were held Monday, February 3 at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Chapel with burial in Ft. Calhoun Cemetery.

Margaret Fuhrman was born May 4, 1905 in rural Fort Calhoun. She attended school in Fort Calhoun.

On February 26, 1924 she married William J. Prochnow at Ponca Lutheran Church. They farmed in the Fort Calhoun area.

To this union, five children were born, Lillian, Mary, Ray, Lena and Harry.

In 1973 she left the farm and moved to Parkview Manor where she lived until moving to Good Shepherd Home in 1984.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, one sister and two brothers.

She is survived by four children, Lillian Prochnow and Mary Weathers, both of Ft. Calhoun; Ray, Dallas, Texas; and Harry of Chula Vista, California; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and two brothers, Emil Fuhrman, Blair and Rudy Fuhrman, Herman.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
