Minnie M. Anderson, 88, of Tekamah, died Friday morning, October 16, 1987, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair, after a lengthy illness.

She was born on March 22, 1899, in Blair to Christopher and Louisa (Andersen) Miller.

She was married to Hans O. Anderson on May 26, 1920, at Blair. Anderson passed away on March 20, 1983.

Survivors include two daughters: Elaine (Mrs. Lawrence) Rojem of Tekamah and Marilyce (Mrs. Keith) Kuhr of Fremont; two sons, Kenneth O. Anderson of Fremont and Donald G. Anderson of Blair; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joe Miller and Leo Miller, both of Blair and Lily Anderson of Mountain Home, Idaho.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers, Lorens and Carl Anderson.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 19, 1987, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Takamah with Rev. David L. Nystrom officiating.

Interment was in the Blair Cemetery.

Arrangements were handled by the Hamel & Peck Funeral Home in Tekamah.

Minnie M. Miller was born near Blair, Nebraska to Christopher and Louisa Miller on March 22, 1899. She was baptized into the Lutheran faith at a young age. On May 26, 1920, she was married to Hans O. Anderson of Blair. They spent many years farming until 1985 when they bought the Elms Apartments and moved to Tekamah.

They were the parents of four children: Kenneth O. Anderson of Fremont, Donald G. Anderson of Blair, Mrs. Lawrence Rojem (Elaine) of Tekamah, Mrs. Keith Kuhr (Marilyce) of Fremont.

Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, Hans O. Anderson in 1983, and her parents and two brothers. She is survived by her four children, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers and many nieces and nephews.
