William Prochnow Died Wednesday, Funeral Saturday

William John Prochnow, 79 years of age of Fort Calhoun died Wednesday at Memorial Community Hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Campbell Mortuary, with interment in Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Mr. Prochnow is survived by his wife, Margaret; children, Harry Prochnow of Blair, Raymond Prochnow of Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Mary Weathers of Galveston, Texas, Mrs. Lena Knag of Omaha ad Mrs. Lillian Prochnow of Fort Calhoun; brothers, Albert and August Prochnow; sisters, Mrs. Anna Ohrt and Mrs. Lizzie Beale, all of Fort Calhoun; and seven grandchildren.

Mr. Prochnow, well known Fort Calhoun farmer, was born Aug. 26, 1886 at Ft. Calhoun.

Pallbearers were Walter Ohrt, Albert Ohrt, John Kelly, Fred Prochnow, Henry Prochnow and Wm. Prochnow, Jr.

Campbell Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
