Carter H. Shimek, Infant

Carter Harwin Shimek, the son of Ken and Janae Shimek of Omaha, was born May 28, 2009, and died May 31, 2009.

Memorial services were June 3 at First Christian Church in Omaha. A private family interment followed.

In addition to his parents, the infant is survived by a brother, Mason; sister, Emma; grandparents, Jan Elvers of Blair and Lori Shimek of Omaha; and great-grandmother, Prekse-daShimek of Grand Island.

Memorials are suggested to Children’s Hospital or First Christian Church 6630 Dodge Street. Heafey-Heafey-Hoffman Dworak-Cutler West Center Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
