Shipley, Emaline Blanche (Mrs. A. G. ”Dell” Shipley) 5/13/1966

Printed in May 16, 1966 Pilot-Tribune, Blair, Nebraska; Death date determined from date of publication

Note: there is a Mrs. Adelbert G “Dell” Shipley, with these dates, buried in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Her name was Emaline Blanche, though she went by Blanche. Source: Tombstone; National Archives.

There are many Shipleys buried in Fort Calhoun, and the Sievers Funeral home is in Fort Calhoun. The cemeteries in Fremont have no Shipley’s at all. I believe the newspaper was in error.
