Services for Emeory W. Short Were Held Thurs.

Funeral services were held Thursday, October 2, at the Bendorf Funeral Home for Emeory W. Short who passed away Sept. 28 at the Veteran’s Hospital in Omaha where he had been ill for some time.

He is survived by 1 son, John Grover, a daughter, Susan, and 2 grandsons, John, Jr., and Steven, all of New Orleans, La., and also surviving are two sisters. They are Mrs. Dorothy Plumb of York, Nebr., and Mrs. Syrilda Mundorf of Blair. One brother, Edgar Short, of Blair, also survives.

Burial was made in the Blair cemetery. Pallbearers were Harold E. Metzler, Sammy Haller, Bud Miller and Howard Clausen.
