Karen A. Short, 67

Karen A. Short, 67, died Feb. 21, 2007, at her home in Mormon Lake, Ariz. A celebration of life was held Feb. 24 at Mormon Lake.

Karen A. Andreasen was born March 20, 1939, to Harry and Margaret (Schumacher) Andreasen.

On Dec. 5, 1959, she married Don Short of Blair. They moved to Arizona in 1968 where they both worked for Western Electric until they retired.

Mrs. Short is survived by her husband, Don; sons, Curt, Terry and Rick, and daughter, Julie and their families; father and stepmother, Harry and Hattie Andreasen; brothers, Ronald and Steven; and sister, Linda Yeager; brothers-in-law Ronald and Kenneth Short.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Roxanne Andreasen and Kyle Herman and a brother, Stanley.
