Lula I Short, 86, of Fort Calhoun, died Friday, May 21, 1999, at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha.

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and until service time on Wednesday.

Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Lula I. Short was born Dec. 1, 1912, to William and Bertha (Garner) Keen in Kearney.

She married Charles Wesley Short on March 5, 1930.

She is survived by her son, Wesley, of Fort Calhoun; three grandchildren, Duane of Omaha, Rusty of Elmiria, N.Y. and Fayann Biodrowski of Fort Calhoun; eight grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren: and sister, Rose Unger of McCook.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles who died on Aug. 29, 1985; brothers and sisters.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
