Funeral services for Kenneth E. Dale, 76, of Omaha, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000 at Heafey-Heafey-Hoffman-Dworak & Cutler West Center Chapel in Omaha. Jennifer Jewett, Certified Lay Speaker, will officiate.

Burial will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Omaha. Mr. Dale died Sat., Oct. 28, 2000 at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha. He will also receive graveside military honors by the VFW.

Kenneth Dale was born July 11, 1924 in Elgin to Elmer E. and Elsie (Lueschen) Dale. He was a 1942 graduate of Kennard High School. He resided in Kennard for seven years. He lived in Council Bluffs, Iowa for seven years also before moving to Omaha, where he lived from 1960 until his death.

He attended Dana College for two and one-half years. He served in World War II in the U.S. Navy, and was an agent for State Farm Insurance for 25 years.

He was a life member of the VFW Post No. 3421 in Omaha, and was a member of the Royal Neighbors.

He is survived by his wife Patricia L. (Gibbons) Dale, of Omaha; daughter and son-in-law Joan and Kirkwood Sayre of Littleton, Co.; son William F. Dale of Omaha; brother and sister-in-law, LaVerne and Iris Dale of Wichita, Ks.; sister and brother-in-law Darlene and Bernard Nutt; nieces and nephews and one grandson.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary E. (O’Hearn) Dale and son Kenneth W. Dale.

Memorials may be offered to a charity of one’s choice.
