Blair son dies in California

Funeral services for U.S. Marine Sgt. David Patrick Michaelsen will be held Friday morning, Jan. 18, at the Denver Baptist Temple, 2727 South Sheridan Blvd., Denver, Colorado, 80227.

Born August 20, 1961, Sgt. Michaelsen died Monday, Jan. 14, while stationed in California. David, 23, was a long Range Flight Communication and Load Master Sergeant.

He is survived by his mother Carol A. Kehm and stepfather Karl Kehm of rural Blair, father Patrick David Michaelsen and stepmother Debra J. Michaelsen of Denver, sisters Cynthia L. Dowdy of Denver, Suzanne F. Campbell of Omaha and Sheri M. Michaelsen of Denver, brothers Daniel J. Michaelsen of Denver, Mark A. Michaelsen of Chuqiak, Alaska, Matthew W. Kehm of Blair and Paul T. Michaelsen of Denver, grandparents Melvin and Agnes Michaelsen and grandmother Lora O’Connor, all of Columbus, Nebraska.
