| Nellie D. Anderson, 91, formerly of Blair, died Friday July 11, 1986 at Annie Jeffrey Hospital in Osceola.
Funeral services were held Monday July 14 at Kepner-Roberts Chapel in Osceola with the Rev. Tel Funk officiating. Burial was in the Osceola Cemetery.
Mrs. Anderson was born June 25, 1895, in Ida Grove, Iowa to Henry and Anna Rann. She married Clarence Anderson January 31, 1915.
She worked as a cook in restaurants and Dana College, and was a member of the St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Blair.
Survivors include a son Clarence, of Grand Island; five daughters, Mrs. Hazel Spain, Omaha; Margaret (Mrs. Keith) Lee of Grand Junction, Iowa; Maxine (Mrs. Frank) Thompson, South Sioux City; Eunice (Mrs. Richard) Marvel, Waterloo, Iowa; and Mrs. Gaynelle Winslow, Osceola; one sister, Mrs. Henrietta Fitch, Blair; 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
