Dan V. Dame, 64, of Blair, died Thursday, June 15, 2000, in Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha.

Funeral services were held on Monday, June 19, 2000, at Brewer Korisko Mortuary in Omaha. Military honors were provided by VFW Post No. 2704. Interment was at Graceland Park Cemetery.

Dan V. Dame was born on Feb. 10, 1936. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3215 of Blair.

He is survived by his wife, Joan; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Lee Jensen, and a son, Daniel, all of Blair; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Rita Dame and Nick and Mary Dame, and a sister, Helen Ribick, all of Omaha, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Josephine Roddy.

Memorials are suggested to the Leukemia Foundation of Nebraska.

Brewer Korisko Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
