HENRY DANIELMEYER DIES AT AGE OF 75

Henry Danielmeyer, a long-time resident and farmer north of Arlington died early Wednesday, January 26th at the Dodge County hospital at Fremont. He was 75 years of age, having been born in Herford, Westfalen, Germany May 20, 1901.

Henry was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith in Germany. He came to America in December 1923. On February 14, 1933 he married the former Ethel Hoier in Fontanelle.

He is survived by his wife Ethel; a son Leroy Danielmeyer and a daughter, Mrs. LeRoy Dunklau (Donna), and three grandchildren, Lisa Danielmeyer, Randy and Tim Dunklau, all of Arlington. Also surviving are two brothers Rudolph and Adolph and four sisters, Mrs. Louise Nedderman, Mrs. Elizabeth Werning, Mrs. Helen Kouig, and Mrs. Anna Erdmann, all living in Germany. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Danielmeyer and three brothers.

Services were held in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church January 28 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Robert Backhus officiating and burial at the St. Paul’s Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary of Blair.
