Richard S. Milan, 66, of Tekamah, died Tuesday, April 1, 2003, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 4, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Tekamah. Interment will be in the Tekamah Cemetery.

Richard Stanley Milan was born June 24, 1936, in Omaha to Stanley and Edna (Dogoda) Milan.

On June 9, 1956, he married Carol Lindner at St. Francis Catholic Church in Omaha. He worked for the State of Nebraska Veterans Home for 38 years.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, seeing the ocean, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; six daughters and sons-in-law, Catherine and Michael Miller of Hooper, Jean and Jon Jorgensen, Janet and Bill Melia, all of Elkhorn, Pattie and Chuck Cihal of Pisgah, Iowa, Susan and Robert Davis of Tekamah, and Sandra and Vance Bohannon of Craig, two sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Pamela Milan of Blair and David and Shari Milan of Herman; 20 grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, John and Louise Milan, and Ray Milan; sisters and brother-in-law, Geraldine and Richard Grace, Dolly John, Irene Kaiser, and Virgie Tomsu, all of Omaha.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
