SUDDENLY CAME THE FINAL SUMMONS

The community was shocked and grieved on last Wednesday morning to receive news of the death of Mr. Nels S. Anderson, father of Andrew, Ole and Sherman Anderson.

Mr. Anderson had attended to his work, and then made his customary trip downtown in the afternoon. He had gone over to Ole Larsen’s to shell corn on a hand cornsheller, but just as he got inside the yard, he was seen to stagger. Mr. Larsen rushed to his assistance and was helping him along when he requested to be laid down. He never again regained consciousness. He was taken to his home where he passed away at 3:45 Wednesday morning.

The children were notified as quickly as possible. Andrew was at Uehling and was brought to the bedside in Mr. Menking’s auto, Mr. Menking making the trip in three hours.

Mr. Anderson was a man with many friends among American people as well as among his own countrymen.

All extend to the bereaved sons and daughters, sympathy.

Funeral services will be held at the Danish church this (Friday) afternoon at 2:00 o’clock. Interment in Kennard cemetery. Obituary next week.
