Arthur Lorsch, 76

Funeral services were held Monday, November 20, 1989 at First Methodist Church for Arthur Lorsch who died November 16, 1989 after suffering an apparent heart attack at his home. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery with Rev. Russell Terman officiating.

Arthur H. Lorsch was born on February 21, 1913 at Ft. Calhoun, Nebraska to Louis and Wilhelmina Rathman Lorsch. He attended rural school at Ft. Calhoun.

On January 22, 1936 he married Marjorie Loftis. Arthur farmed south of Blair and worked for Wilkinson Manufacturing retiring from the farm in 1959 and from Wilkinson being with the company for 21 yearrs. He later worked for the City of Blair in the Parks Department until his health forced him to retire.

In January, 1982, his wife Marjorie died.

On May 28, 1985, he married Orpha Kelly in Blair, Nebraska.

Art was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Marjorie, one sister and one son-in-law.

Arthur is survived by his wife, Orpha; two daughters, Bonnie (Mrs. Joe) Foster and Lila Dillenburg, borh of Blair and two sons, Arnold Lorsch of Omaha and LeRoy Lorsch of Kennard. He is also survived by two stepchildren, Michael Kelly, Lincoln, Nebraska and Karen Warrick, LaVista, Nebraska; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, Emil Lorsch and one sister, Matta Larsen, both of Blair.
