SERVICES FOR RICHARD DANIELS WEDNESDAY
Graveside services for Richard M. Daniels of Blair, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, at the Blair Cemetery. Pastor Owen Wilmot will officiate. Daniels, a former Blair Utility Department employee, was born June 10, 1901, in DeSoto, Nebraska, to Francis and Florence (McCready) Daniels.
Mr. Daniels married Marian Paul May 5, 1948 in Blair. She survives, with sons Fred of Porterville, California; Francis of Modesto, California; and Don Paul of Casper, Wyoming; daughters, Mrs. John (Barbara) Goodell of Omaha and Mrs. Warren (Tena) Shumake of Blair; 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Two sisters preceded him in death.
Mr. Daniels attended Blair Elementary School, worked for the Blair Utility Department for 30 years, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge for 50 years.
Pallbearers are Warren Shumake, Clark Shumake, John W. Goodell, John F. Goodell and Richard Goodell.
