MARY ETHEL DAVID, 99
Funeral services for Mary Ethel David, age 99 of Blair, who died February 6, 1992 at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair, were held Saturday, February 8 at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Chapel.
Mary Ethel David was born November 16, 1892 in Prescott, Iowa to James and Abigail Edmunds Foy. She grew up in the Prescott area and also taught school there.
She married Eugene F. David November 6, 1918 in Corning, Iowa. They soon moved to Washington County, Nebraska, where they were engaged in farming until 1951. At this time, they moved into Blair. She resided in her home in Blair until July, 1991 at which time she moved into Crowell Home.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Bench Community Club.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Lyle and Margaret David of rural Ft. Calhoun; daughter-in-law, Ruth David of Kansas City, Missouri; five granddaughters; three grandsons-in-law and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Eugene in 1958; two sons, Robert, who was 11 months; and Clarence in 1979 and one brother.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
