Former City Police Dies In Omaha

Carl Christopher Miller former police officer of Blair, died at the University Hospital in Omaha November 7th.

Mr. Miller was born April 2, 1905 to Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Miller in Herman.

He is survived by three sons, Carl Miller Jr. of Detroit, Mich., Marvin of Omaha and Melvin of Minneapolis, Minn.; and one daughter, Mrs. Andrew Mininni (Marjorie) of Omaha. Also nine grandchildren.

His brothers are Lawrence and Leo of Blair and Joe of Florence. Four sisters also survive. They are Mrs. Hans Anderson (Minnie), Mrs. Roland Richter (Sophie) and Mrs. Bert Spanton (Martha), all of Blair; and Mrs. Walter Andersen (Lillie) of Omaha.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 10th at the Campbell Mortuary at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. George Palleson will officiate. Burial will be in Blair Cemetery.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
