George R. Davidson was the fourth resident at the Crowell Home to succumb to the hand of death already this year. His death occurred of old age, past 93 years, at 5 o’clock last Friday morning. Rev. J. W. Lewis conducted a simple funeral service at 3 o’clock Saturday afternoon and interment was made in the Blair cemetery, as he had no near relatives living. He came to the Home 3 ½ years ago from Rushville, being the first person to be taken in after Mr. Esplin became superintendent.
