MRS. ANNIE DAVIES RITES FRIDAY

Mrs. Annie Davies, a resident of Blair since 1889, passed away at the Blair Hospital last Tuesday evening at 6:30 o’clock.

Deceased was born on a farm near Tekamah on December 6, 1864, and was thus past 78 years of age at her death. She was married to Madison K. Davies in 1889 and they made their home in Blair. The husband passed away in 1918.

She was, as long as her health would permit, a regular attendant at the Church of Christ and was also an active member of the Relief Corps and the Pythian Sisters.

One son, Edwin of Elgin, Illinois, and several nephews and nieces are left to mourn her death. The son and wife made an all-night drive to be present and will remain until after the funeral which is to be held tomorrow (Friday) at 2 p.m. from the Campbell Mortuary with Rev. T. A. Lindenmeyer, pastor of the Church of Christ, officiating and interment will be made in the Blair cemetery.
