BLANCHE F. DAVIS DIED AT OMAHA HOSPITAL TUESDAY

Blanche F. Davis, a long-time resident of Blair, died at an Omaha hospital last Tuesday, December 10th. Mrs. Davis was a hairdresser, by trade, and she operated a beauty parlor on east Colfax street for many years. In recent months she had been living in Omaha at 5018 South 50th Street.

Mrs. Davis was the daughter of Alonzo Hanna and Lillian Hanna. The Hannas operated a photo studio in Blair for many years and they are well remembered by the older residents of the community. Both of her parents are dead.

Blanche F. Davis Died At Omaha Hospital Tuesday

Blanche F. Davis, a long-time resident of Blair, died at an Omaha hospital last Tuesday, December 10th. Mrs. Davis was a hairdresser by trade, and she operated a beauty parlor on east Colfax street for many years. In recent months she had been living in Omaha at 5018 South 50th Street.

Mrs. Davis was the daughter of Alonzo Hanna and Lillian Hanna. The Hannas operated a photo studio in Blair for many years and they are well remembered by the older residents of the community. Both of her parents are dead.

Mrs. Davis was born at Westpoint, Iowa on May 29, 1904. She was 70 years of age at the time of her death. She is survived by a sister, Dorothy Yagash, of Omaha, by 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Blair, Saturday afternoon, December 14th. The Rev. Robert Bee conducted the service and burial was made in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary.

Pallbearers were grandsons of the deceased.
