Lloyd D. Provan, 61

Graveside services were held at Fort Calhoun Cemetery November 20 for Lloyd Harlan Provan who died Saturday, November 4, 1989 at Tucson, Arizona. Rev. Tim Anderson officiated.

He was born in Oakland, California, January 21, 1928. He was raised in an orphanage. He served in the United States Navy 8 ½ years. Lloyd was retired from the Stanford University Science Laboratory after working there 32 years.

Lloyd made his home with Louise Magee for 28 years in Arizona.

Survivors are a daughter, Sonya Hearsh and grandson, Taylor of Woodside, California; a brother, Will and sister, Pat Schafer, both of California and a friend Louise Magee of Arizona.
