Art Pullen Passed Away In Hospital Tues. Morning

Mr. Chester Arthur Pullen, of Arlington, passed away at Dodge County Hospital in Fremont at 6 a.m. Tuesday morning, August 15th. Mr. Pullen was 77 years old at the time of his death.

Surviving are his wife, Nellie, of Arlington, and two sons and two daughters. The sons are Loren Pullen, of Fremont; and James Pullen, of Whiting, Iowa. The two daughters are Mrs. Lloyd Mathiesen, of Blair; and Mrs. Eugene Mathiesen, of Blair. Mr. Pullen had 10 grand-children and 18 great-grandchildren.

Prayer services for Arthur Pullen will be held at the home in Arlington at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 18, where the body will lie in state. Rev. Kenneth Garrison will be in charge of the prayer service.

Interment services will be held at First Lutheran Church in Blair at 2 p.m. on Friday. Rev. George Palleson will officiate. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Mr. Pullen was born on July 18, 1884 at Pender, Nebraska. He was married to Nellie Ethel Fitzsimmons on December 30, 1903. Six children were born to this union. Two sons preceded Mr. Pullen in death.

Mr. Pullen was the last of a family of 14 children.

Services are in charge of the Bendorf Funeral Home.
