Services Held In Fremont For Dorothy Pullen

Funeral services were held Wednesday July 6, at the First Baptist Church in Fremont for Mrs. Loren (Dorothy) Pullen, 78, of Fremont who died in Memorial Hospital of Dodge County on July 3, 1983, after a 2 ½ year illness.

The Rev. Leland Foreman officiated. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery.

Dorothy Pullen was born February 7, 1905, at Herman to Henry and Clara Thorndike Meier. She had lived in Fremont for the past 22 years. Prior to that, she had lived north of Arlington in the Telbasta area.

She was a past president of the WCTU.

She married Loren A. Pullen February 1, 1929, at Blair. He survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Larry Pullen, Lyons; and Robert Pullen, Uehling, Nebraska; and a daughter, Mrs. Lainey (Harriet) Odle, Fremont. Thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grand-children; and three sisters, Mrs. Helen Newland, Longview, Washington; Mrs. Charles (Effie) Myers, Belden, Nebraska and Mrs. Ralph (Alice) Lambert, North Bend, Nebraska, also survive.

Pallbearers were Ed Pullen, Larry M. Pullen, John Odle, Doug Lipinski, Keith Burge, and Steve Peters.

Bader Rozanek Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
