Evelyn Pullen, 70

Funeral services for Evelyn L. Pullen of Arlington will be held at 10:30 a.m. today (Tuesday) at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington with Rev. Dennis Maaske officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Wilbur Grefe, Rudy Fuchs, Duane Mosel, Allan Adams, Greg Gillham and Loren Pullen.

Evelyn died February 19, 1988, at her home.

Evelyn Dickmeyer was born November 17, 1917, in Arlington, and lived there until moving to Fremont in 1977. She returned to Arlington 10 years later.

On February 23, 1941, she married Lloyd Pullen in Arlington. Her husband died March, 1946.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and the Bell Creek Sewing Club.

Survivors include sisters Mrs. Paul (Laura) Rhine of Goodman, Missouri, and Mrs. Harry (Norma) Gillham of Covina, California.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents, John and Amelia (Kruger) Dickmeyer.

Memorials may be given to the church of the Lutheran Hour.

EVELYN LENA MARY PULLEN

Evelyn Lena Mary Pullen, the daughter of John and Amelia (Kruger) Dickmeyer, was born November 17, 1917 at Arlington, Nebraska. She grew up at Arlington and lived there until 1977 when she moved to Fremont, Nebraska. She moved back to Arlington in 1987.

Evelyn was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Arlington. She was confirmed in the Lutheran faith on April 17, 1932 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Bell Creek Sewing Club.

Evelyn married Lloyd Pullen on February 23, 1941 at Arlington, Nebraska. He died in March of 1946.

Evelyn passed from this life on Friday, February 19, 1988 at her home, at the age of 70 years, 3 months and 2 days. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Paul (Laura) Rhine of Goodman, Missouri and Mrs. Harry (Norma) Gillham of Covina, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
