Services Held For Nellie Pullen On Monday

Funeral services were held on Monday, January 5 at 10:30 a.m. at First Lutheran Church for Nellie Ethel Pullen, 95, who died at the Good Shepherd Home on January 2, 1981. Rev. Kurt Sortland will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Nellie Ethel Pullen was born on June 27, 1885 in Wakefield, Nebraska, to Thomas and Nancy Fitzsimmons. She was married to Chester Pullen. She was a resident at the Good Shepherd Home.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Violet) Mathiesen, Blair; and Mrs. Eugene (Elaine) Mathiesen, Herman; and two sons, James Pullen, Hornick, Iowa; and Loren Pullen, Fremont, Nebraska. Also surviving her are: one sister, Gertrude Kimball, Sioux City, Iowa; ten grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren and thirty great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Ervin Mathiesen, Lyle Mathiesen, Keith Mathiesen, Dale Mathiesen, Robert Pullen and Larry Pullen.

Organist was Clare Cowing, **ck Jorgensen was soloist.
