| Funeral services for Olga Anderson who died at the Crowell Memorial Home on Monday, July 3, 1989 will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, at First Lutheran Church with Rev. James McBride officiating. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.
Olga Emilia Anderson was born on May 9, 1904 at Verona, Nebraska to Anders and Anna Bertelsen Simonsen. She moved to Blair in 1922 and married Rev. Wesley Anderson on June 8, 1936 at First Lutheran Church.
They served parishes in Kimballton, Iowa; Kenmare, North Dakota; Coulter, Latimer, Humboldt, Rutland, Iowa; Sleepy Eye, Evan, Morgan, Minnesota; and Viroqua, Wisconsin. After Rev. Anderson’s death in 1969, Olga moved to Hastings, Nebraska and later to Blair, residing at Crowell Home for the past six years.
She is survived by five sons, Ernie of Racine, Wisconsin; Emory, Copenhagen, Denmark; Ron, Oak Park, Illinois; and Allen and Larry of Omaha, Nebraska. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and one sister, Marie Simonsen of Hastings, Nebraska.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters and three brothers.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
