Fred Puls

Services were held October 28 at Taylor Mortuary in Papillion for Fred M. Puls, who died October 25, 1985. He was the son of Fritz J. and Emma Martens Puls and was born January 29, 1917, at Bennington, Nebraska. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.

He attended school in the Dornacker School, north of Bennington, and served his country in World War II in the Pacific.

On September 26, 1952 he was united in marriage to Arlene Rohwer Klopp at the Kountz Memorial Lutheran Church in Omaha.

They lived on a farm north of Elkhorn until 1957 when they purchased a farm near Gretna where they lived until 1979.

At that time they had a house built on the east edge of Gretna where they lived until his death.

Survivors include Arlene and his sisters Viola Rohwer of Omaha and Rose Nelsen of Las Gatos, California, and his nieces and nephews.
