Michael Charles Punko, son of Stephen and Elsie Punko of Las Vegas, Nevada, died May 25 after a long illness. He was 28 years old.

Michael was a 1973 graduate of Blair High School. He was on the honor roll all four years and also lettered in football both his junior and senior years.

Michael is survived by his parents, Stephen and Elsie Punko, a brother, Kenneth and a sister, Cynthia, both of Las Vegas, a sister, Kathleen Punk Thomas of Granite City, Illinois. Mrs. Mildred Levos of Blair, is his grandmother.

Funeral services were held in Las Vegas, Nevada on Tuesday, May 29, and graveside and burial services were performed at Blair Cemetery on Thursday, May 31.

Services were performed in Blair by Rev. Owen Wilmot.
