Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, June 23 at First Lutheran Church in Missouri Valley for Laura D. Wolsmann Purcell, 38 of Logan, Iowa who died June 21, 1995 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. Rev. Carl Groh will officiate. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Memorial Garden in Missouri Valley.

Visitation will be from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday at the Hennessey-Hurley-Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley.

Laura D. Wolsmann Purcell was born in Blair June 14, 1957 to John and Betty Schlote Wolsmann. She graduated from Blair High School in 1975.

She married Marvin Purcell October 15, 1976 in Kennard, Nebraska. They lived in Missouri Valley until moving to Logan in 1988.

She worked at Bond Equipment in Logan.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Missouri Valley.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin and children, Amber and Cody, all of Logan; her parents, John and Betty Wolsmann of Blair; a sister, Sharon (Mrs. Ted) Metzgar of Madison, Wisconsin and a brother and sister-in-law, John and YIvonne Wolsmann, Jr. of Omaha.
