Tekamah Resident Died January 1st

Ralph Purcell, 68, resident of Tekamah, Nebraska, passed away at the Blair Community Hospital on January 1st. Mr. Purcell had been in failing health since he underwent a laryngotomy several years ago. He was employed at the Korshoj Construction Co of Blair until retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Martha, who is also hospitalized in the Blair Hospital, and by stepsons Opal Golden of Blair, Howard Golden of Herman and Odie Golden of Ponca.

In addition, there are several step grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Ann Teager, and a brother Parley Purcell, both of Logan, Iowa and half brother, Harley Madison of Sioux City, Iowa.
