(October 16, 1998 - June 3, 2014

Dalan DelRay Brandt, 15 years, of rural Hooper, Nebraska died Tuesday, June 3, 2014 as a result of an automobile accident, north of Fremont, Nebraska.

Dalan was born October 16, 1998 in Fremont, Nebraska to Deane Brandt. He was baptized and confirmed at Salem Lutheran Church at Fontanelle, Nebraska. He was a member of the youth group at the church. He had just completed his freshman year at Logan View High School, where he was a member of the band and FFA. He enjoyed playing video games and watching movies.

He is survived by his mother, Deane and husband, Cody Snow of Fremont; grandparents, Jim and Sharon Brandt of Hooper; great grandparents, Don and Joan Berg of Scribner, Nebraska and Delford and Lois Brandt of Fontanelle; aunt, DonDel and husband, Fred Uhing and their son, Briar of Fremont.

Memorial service will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 9, 2014 at Salem Lutheran Church in Fontanelle, Nebraska. The Rev. Robert Hayden will officiate. Memorial Visitation will be on Sunday from 4 PM to 8 PM, and with the family receiving friends from 6 PM to 8 PM, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Burial will be at Salem Lutheran Cemetery at Fontanelle.

Memorials may be directed to the family for a fund yet to be established.
