Craig A. Fuhrer was born Jan. 6, 1957, in Blair, to Robert and Lucile Fuhrer of Blair.

He was a graduate of Blair High School.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Lucille Fuhrer of Blair; brother Cletus Fuhrer of Sioux City Iowa; sisters: Linda (Denny) Grover of Mission, Texas, Debbie Fuhrer of Blair and Tammy (Shane) Reeh of Blair; and many nieces and nephews.

Craig Allen Fuhrer, 57, of Omaha, died May 28, 2014, in Omaha.

A celebration of life will be 10 a.m. Thursday, June 19, at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Nursing Home Chapel, 2242 Wright St., Blair. In honor of his love for the Cornhuskers, those attending are asked to wear red or a Nebraska shirt.

Craig A. Fuhrer was born Jan. 6, 1957, in Blair, to Robert and Lucille Fuhrer of Blair.

He was a 1975 graduate of Blair High School.

He was an avid Nebraska Cornhuskers fan and traveled to many bowl games.

He is survived by his parents of Blair; brother Cletus Fuhrer of Sioux City, Iowa; sisters: Linda (Denny) Grover of Mission, Texas, Deb Fuhrer of Blair and Tammy (Shane) Reeh of Blair; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his best friend and partner, Cindy Lawson; grandparents Igena Martin and Herman and Lucy Fuhrer.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held Thursday, June 19th at 10am at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Nursing Home Chapel. 2242 Wright St, Blair, NE.
