MRS. FREEMAN, 33, SUCCUMBS

WIFE OF HERMAN BUSINESS MAN IS DEAD, FOLLOWING A LONG ILLNESS

In failing health the past eight years, Mrs. Kenneth Freeman, 33, wife of a well-known Herman businessman, died Friday at her home in Herman. She had lived in Herman 15 years.

Funeral services were held Sunday at the Herman Baptist Church. The Rev. A. W. Clarke of Schuyler, former Methodist pastor in Herman, officiated, assisted by William Hansen of Trinity Seminary, Blair. Mrs. Harry Hilton of Decatur sang, accompanied by Mrs. T. R. Swanson of Herman. Pallbearers were Robert Brodersen, Willis Horn, Warren George, Boyd Lewis, Roland Wachter and W. J. Martin. Interment was in Craig Cemetery.

Ruby Dorothy Moore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Moore, was born at Oak Park, Minn., July 9, 1914. When two years old, she moved to Tekamah with her parents. She and Kenneth D. Freeman of Craig, were married Dec. 24, 1931, and lived at Craig for a few years, coming to Herman in 1933.

Four years ago, Mrs. Freeman and her daughter, Mary Jane, joined the Herman Baptist Church.

Surviving Mrs. Freeman are her husband, Kenneth; the daughter, Mary Jane, a Herman High School junior; her mother, Mrs. Edith Moore, who has been making her home with the Freemans; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Ipsen of Tekamah and Mrs. Edna Redding of Lyons; and twin brothers, Floyd Moore of Tekamah and Lloyd Moore of Omaha.

MRS. K. FREEMAN RITES SUNDAY

Mrs. Kenneth Freeman of Herman passed away at 5 a.m. Sunday, May 9th, following a lingering illness.

She was born July 9th, 1914 at Oak Park, Minnesota, and at the age of two her parents moved to Tekamah where she spent her early days. On Dec. 24, 1931 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Freeman of Craig where they lived for several years.

The family moved to Herman in 1933 where they have since resided. Mrs. Freeman and daughter were both members of the Baptist church, and she has been a consistent church worker and a Christian in every respect.

She leaves to mourn her passing the devoted husband and daughter, her mother, Mrs. Edith Moore who has made her home with the family, two sisters, Mrs.Hazel Ipson of Tekamah and Mrs. Edna Redding of Lyons, and two brothers, Floyd of Tekamah and Lloyd of Omaha.

Funeral rites were held Sunday in Herman, and burial was made in the Craig cemetery.
