CLARISSA M. DAVIS, 83

Clarissa “Chris” M. (Wicks) Davis of Danville, Calif., died Jan. 4, 2001, in Lafayette, Calif.

A family graveside service and interment was held Jan. 8, 2001.

Mrs. Davis was a retired teacher and homemaker. She lived in southern California for 36 years before moving to Danville five years ago. She taught English and typing at Blair High School from 1940 to 1942.

Her hobbies included music and travel.

She is survived by two daughters, Donna Davis Terrazas of Concord, Calif., and Jean Davis of Danville; and a son, Brian Davis of Yorba Linda, Calif.; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, June and Jack Kuhr of Blair.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Myron Davis, originally of Blair, in 1979.
