HAZEL SOPHRONA DAVIS, 83
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 10 at the Herman Methodist Church for Hazel Sophrona Davis, 83, of Herman who died October 6, 1989 at the Fremont Care Center. Rev. Larry Orvis will officiate with burial in the Herman Cemetery.
Hazel Sophrona Davis was born February 23, 1906 in Blair, Nebraska to Samuel Franklin and Margaret Sophrona Place Morrison. She attended the Herman Schools.
She married Clark Charles Davis in Alexandria, South Dakota September 4, 1928. To this union one daughter was born.
She is survived by her daughter, Sophrona Ann (Mrs. Virgil) Burns of Fremont; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Herman Federated Churches.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
