Mrs. Lena Thielfoldt passed away at her home Monday after a short illness. She was born to Mr. and Mrs. Hans Staben on November 1st, 1871 at Calhoun.

On February 24, 1888 she was united in marriage to Joe Thielfoldt and to this union were born six sons and two daughters. Charles Thielfoldt of Herman; Mrs. Nels Svendgaard (Emma) of Arlington; Mrs. Nels Lindberg (Margaret) of Blair survive their mother. Four sons, Carl, Harry, Eddie, and John preceded her in death.

Mr. and Mrs. Thielfoldt spent their entire married life in Washington County. They lived on a farm west of Herman, also on one west of Blair and in the Vacoma vicinity. Mr. Thielfoldt died on November 24, 1924.

Besides her three children, Mrs. Thielfoldt is survived by six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and Mrs. Grace Thielfoldt, a daughter-in-law of Tekamah.

Funeral services will be held at the Bendorf Funeral Home at 1:30 on Thursday (today) with Rev. H. C. Jorgensen officiating. Burial will be in the Blair cemetery.

Pallbearers will be six grandsons, Donald and Lyle Thielfoldt, Curtis Behrendt, all of Herman; Sterling Plugge of Arlington; Marlon Loftis and Delwin Nelson of Pender.
