Services were Tuesday, December 19, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, for Hal Kyle Showalter, 58, formerly of Wichita, Kansas who died December 16, 1989 in Copan, Oklahoma. Rev. Keith Henley officiated. Burial was in Bartlesville.

Hal Kyle Showalter was born June 26, 1931 to Hal and Alice Kyle Showalter. He attended school in Arkansas and was in the construction business in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas for 15 years.

He had been ill for about four years and was living with his daughter in Copan at the time of his death. He was preceded in death by his wife; father; two brothers; and one sister.

He is survived by his mother, Alice Showalter, Copan; two sons, Hal K. Showalter, Jr., Corpus Christi, Texas, and Andrew Showalter of Wichita, Kansas; one daughter, Mrs. Kylene French, Kingston, Oklahoma; two sisters, Mrs. Bettye Burmeister, Blair and Mrs. Fonda Purdum, Copan; and one granddaughter.
