Richard V. Showers

Richard V. Showers, of Omaha and formerly of Blair, 67, died Jan. 17, 1989 at his home.

Powers was a former administrator at Dana and was a broker with J. M. Yowell Realtors. He was governor of The Optimists in the state of Nebraska and a member of the Optimist International Foundation.

He is survived by his wife, Marion E.; four daughters, Linda Klackner, Allentown, PA, Debra Mitchell and Lisa Galala, both of Pleasanton, CA and Kathleen Koca, Omaha. Five grandchildren also survive him.

Services are Thurs., Jan. 19, at Roeder Mortuary , 2727 No. 108, Omaha. Interment will be in Pennsylvania.
