Services for Blair resident Harry “Dick” Schrum, 67, who died Thursday, December 5, 1985 at Veterans Hospital in Omaha, were held Monday (today) at the Campbell Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Owen Wilmot officiated and burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Shrum was born March 10, 1918, the son of Harry and Ethel Shrum of Riverton, Iowa.

He was a veteran of World War II and employed at Kelly Ryan Manufacturing.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Patty) Maynard of Blair; and two brothers, Dean and James, both of Lemon Grove, California.

Pallbearers were Chester Wiese, Allen Gamet, Kai Kastrup, Merle Wiese, Keith Matzen and Ray Therkelsen. Honorary pallbearers were Ray Rosenbaum, Kenny Brechbill, Milt Hansen and Richard Trofholz.

Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
