Brother of Blair Man Died In Schuyler

Funeral services for Rudy Shuster, 50, a Schuyler truck driver, were at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ United Methodist Church in Schuyler.

The Rev. Phillip Bede officiated.

Shuster died in his home Wednesday. He had been ill for some time.

He was born May 25, 1929, in Martin, S.D. and lived most of his life in the Schuyler area.

He was married to Donna May in Schuyler on September 18, 1951. She survives, along with a son, Eddie, a daughter, Mrs. David (Sherry) Westphalen; his mother, Lillian Shuster; and two grandchildren, all of Schuyler; a brother, Harvey, of Blair; and sisters, Mrs. Don (Lillian) Balmer of Osage Beach, Mo., Mrs. Albert (Phyllis) Koci of Weatherford, Texas, and Mrs. Robert (Margaret) Kirchoff, of Calion, Ark.

Shuster was a member of the Schuyler Volunteer Fire Department.

Visitation was at Svoboda Funeral Home of Schuyler.

Burial was in the Schuyler Cemetery.
