Mrs. Guy Quick Buried In Tekamah

Services were held Monday, Sept. 8th at the First Baptist Church in Tekamah for Mrs. Guy (Cleo) Quick. Mrs. Quick passed away at the Blair Memorial Community Hospital after being ill for several weeks. Burial was at the Tekamah Cemetery.

Cleo Myers Quick was born May 24th, 1899 to Anna and Hamilton Myers at Tekamah and succumbed Friday, Sept, 5th at Blair. Cleo grew up on a farm east of Tekamah and was a faithful member of the Baptist Church.

She was united in marriage to Guy Quick on Sept. 24, 1922. To this union were born two sons, Eugene and Francis. Their 47 years of married life were spent farming in the Tekamah area, until retiring to Blair 4 years ago.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Solomon. Survivors are her husband Guy, two sons, Eugene and Francis of Blair, six grandchildren, Wayne, Sharolyn, Kim, Ann, Randy and John and one brother, Clay of Sacramento, California.
