Mrs. N.A. Bovee died at her home on the farm near Herman on Monday and the funeral was held at the Methodist church in Herman at 1 o’clock yesterday, Rev. Rouse officiating. The remains were brought down and laid to rest in the cemetery at this place. Mrs. Bovee had been sick for about three years with consumption and was always a patient sufferer and death was a welcome guest for she was not afraid to go.

She had been a member of the Methodist church for a good many years and her daily life was an honor to herself, her people and her church.

She was born in Ohio about 58 years ago and was married to N.A. Bovee at Clinton, Ill. They came to this county about eighteen years ago. She leaves a husband and six children, Mrs. John Loftus, Mrs. Lee Fletcher, Raymond, William, Mabel and May.
