Della R. Miller, 64

Della R. Miller, 64, of Blair, died Friday, July 9, 2004, at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha.

Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 16, at First United Methodist Church in Blair. Burial of her cremains will be at the Blair Cemetery. There is no visitation.

Della R. Miller was born Feb. 4, 1940, in Macy to Deloras and Edith (Peck) Murphy.

On Feb. 11, 1961, she married Robert Miller in Missouri Valley, Iowa.

Mrs. Miller worked at the Campbell Soup Company in Fremont and later worked as a nurse’s aide at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home for several years. She did work for the Share project in Blair. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Blair Eagles, and the Diabetic Association. She enjoyed bowling, making ceramics, and playing cards.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and John Tull of Tekamah; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Fred Murphy of Denver, Colo.; niece and husband, Carol and Allen Tranmer; great-niece; and nephews, Jerry Miller, Ivan Miller, David Miller and Dow Miller.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Donna Miller; and brother, Melvin Murphy.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
