Doris Maxine Miller, 79 of Blair, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 10, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Burial will be in the Herman Cemetery.

Doris Maxine Miller was born Aug. 15, 1920, to Earl and Mary (Salley) Bailey in Hastings, Iowa. On Oct. 23, 1947, she married Lester Miller in Plattsmouth.

The couple moved to Kansas City, Mo. in November of 1951. She worked as a seamstress for the H. D. Lee Company.

In 1980, she moved back to Nebraska, and resided at Good Shepherd Home for the past eight years.

She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jerry and Darlene Miller, and Donald Miller, both of Blair; four grandsons, Jerry Jr., Ronald, Bobby and Jeff; two granddaughters, Sarah and Ginger; two sisters, Edna Walters of Gretna; and Helen Phelps of Decatur.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lester, who died in 1972; and one brother, Norris Bailey.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
