Miller Services Wednesday

Funeral services for Howard B. Miller, a native of Kennard, are set for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 22, at the Campbell Funeral Home. Rev. Owen Wilmot will officiate, accompanied by vocalist Lola Thompson. Burial will follow at the Kennard Cemetery.

Miller, 78, was born August 26, 1905, in Kennard. He attended school in Kennard, was a farmer, and also worked for the Nebraska Highway Department. He died Sunday, August 19, at the Blair Hospital.

He was the son of John Henry and Katherine (Japp) Miller, and married Kathryn Ernst, who survives and lives in Omaha where the couple last resided.

Other survivors include one son, Ned Miller of Blair and two granddaughters, and brother, Ned Miller of Sterling, Virginia. One brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
