Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 12 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Lincoln for James A. Miller, 67 of Lincoln, who died July 9, 1996. Rev. Dean Von Stroh and Rev. Stuart Firnhaber will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. Wednesday through 9 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to service time at the church.

He was born in Kansas City, Missouri.

He was personnel manager and vice president of H.W.S. Engineering Consultants.

He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, a Bible Study Group and the American Legion in Harlingen, Texas.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary and a sister, Mary Prentice.

He is survived by his wife, Marilee Miller of Lincoln; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Greg and Marty Miller of Lincoln and Stephen Miller of Temecula, California; granddaughters, Hannah Miller and Katie Miller; a grandson, Samuel Miller; his mother-in-law, Lenora Lueders and a nephew.

Memorials may be directed to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or the Tabitha Hospice.

Roper & Sons Mortuary in Lincoln is in charge of arrangements.
